Service Manager/Owner
Jeff started Front Line Services Inc. in 1990. He loves the challenge of never doing the same thing twice. Troubleshooting complex problems related to fire trucks is a skill he definitely possesses. Jeff is Master EVT and Master ASE and State Certified. Jeff is married with three grown children. In his free time, he is an avid boater.
Wendy Simon
Fire Truck Sales
Joined Front Line Services Inc. in 1993. After honing her customer service skills as a fast food restaurant manager, Wendy needed a new challenge and FLSI provided the opportunity to constantly learn and grow. She started out in equipment sales and eventually moved into new fire truck sales. What’s most important to Wendy is taking care of people!
Melissa Militello
PPE Specialist
Joined Front Line Services Inc. in late 2020. She brings with her experience from previous roles in retail and customer service. After joining the family business and learning about fire equipment, Melissa helped launch our specialized PPE department where she now focuses exclusively on personal protective equipment sales. When not at work, she enjoys updating her property with her husband, spending time with her daughter, and caring for her two cats. She loves diving into creative projects, reading, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
Dale Rottman Jr.
Mobile Service Technician
Joined Front Line Services Inc. in 2014. Dale has been working on ambulances and fire trucks since 1989. He’s EVT, ASE, and State Certified. He also is a former Sheriff’s Deputy. Dale and his wife moved to this area from downstate in order to make their cabin into a permanent home; they think it was one of the best decisions they ever made. Dale and his wife have three grown sons.
Nick Colgan
Mobile Service Technician
Nick joined Front Line Services in 2022. After previously having worked in other mechanic shops, he brings fresh experience to our team. Together with his wife, they have two sons, a dog, and a cat. They love to camp and hang out with their friends, but spend the majority of their time together as a family, watching the cute things their sons continue to learn.
Tracey Martin
Service Technician
Joined Front Line Services Inc. in 2012. Tracey spends most of his time fabricating new items and customizing or repairing the fire trucks that come to our shop. He’s had a diverse career, including many years as a welder and in a machine-sharpening shop. He learned customer service skills during a stint in a meat shop as a meat cutter. Tracey is Master ASE, Master EVT, and State Certified. He, his wife, and two sons enjoy automotive racing. When he’s not at Front Line, you’ll often find Tracey behind a videocamera at the Tri-City Motor Speedway.

Mobile Service Coordinator
Gina Bedelyton Service Coordinator, Gina spent 20+ years in retail management, experience that taught her how to thrive in fast-changing situations—perfect preparation for the fire industry’s unique challenges. She joined the team at the front desk and transitioned into the role of Service Coordinator in early 2022. Outside of work, she and her husband spend summer weekends at their seasonal campsite and fall weekends cheering on the Lions from their living-room couch with their fur babies.

JD joined our team in March of 2023 after previously working as a Driver Manager for a trucking company in Shepherd, MI. He’s married and has four grown children and two grandchildren. He and his family are avid sports fans and love to spend their spare time participating in or watching sporting events.

Inside Sales & Customer Service
Katie joined our team in February of 2023. She has worked in retail management and childcare development. Her unique experience with customer service makes her a great asset to our team. She has three step-sons who tow her to many sporting events – which she very much enjoys attending, especially football games. In her free time, Katie likes to read books, attend concerts, and play video games. Originally from the Metro Detroit area, Katie moved up to Freeland in 2022 to be with her husband.
